Create campaigns, manage budgets, and analyze advertising performance

What You Can Do

Google Ads is the world's largest digital advertising platform. OpenClaw gives you the ability to manage campaigns, control spend, and extract performance insights through conversation.

  • Account info — Customer ID, account name, currency, time zone
  • List campaigns — All campaigns with status, type, budget, and performance summary
  • Campaign details — Bidding strategy, targeting, start/end dates, network settings
  • Create campaigns — New search, display, or shopping campaigns with budget and bidding
  • Update campaigns — Change status (ENABLED/PAUSED/REMOVED), budget, name, or end date
  • Ad groups — List, create, update, and manage ad groups within campaigns
  • Keywords — Add, update, bid on, or pause keywords in ad groups
  • Ads — List expanded text ads and responsive search ads; create new ad variants
  • Performance reports — Impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, conversions, ROAS for any date range
  • Budget management — Shared budgets and individual campaign daily budgets
  • Negative keywords — Add campaign-level or account-level negative keyword lists
  • Geographic targeting — Add or remove location targets per campaign
  • Audience targeting — Apply remarketing lists and custom audiences
  • Try Asking

  • "Show me the performance of my search campaigns over the last 7 days"
  • "Pause the 'Summer Sale' campaign"
  • "Increase the daily budget for the 'Brand Keywords' campaign to $500"
  • "Which keywords have the highest CPC in my top-performing campaign?"
  • "Create a new search campaign called 'Product Launch' with a $200 daily budget"
  • "Add 'free shipping' and 'best price' as negative keywords to all campaigns"
  • "What's my account-level ROAS for the last 30 days?"
  • "Show me all ad groups with a CTR below 2% this month"
  • Pro Tips

  • Google Ads API uses GAQL (Google Ads Query Language) — similar to SQL for ad data
  • Status values: ENABLED, PAUSED, REMOVED — removing is permanent; pause to stop spending
  • Conversion tracking must be set up in the UI first before conversion data appears in reports
  • Smart bidding strategies (Target CPA, Target ROAS) require conversion data to function
  • Negative keyword lists can be shared across campaigns for efficiency
  • Changes take effect within minutes but reporting data has a 3-hour delay
  • Combine with Sheets: export daily performance data to a spreadsheet for executive reporting
